I just need to know a few things....

Ok, I am prepared to make this the main server I get on. These questions are for admins/owners only!

What I wish to know is:

Will you be willing to remove the adds off the forums?
How many average players are on?
What was the most players on at one time?
How many admins are registered here?
How often at times, do players find themselves stuck with hackers ingame with no admin?
How old is the server?
Do you expect the server to fail within the next 6 months(Answer honestly)?
What is the player registration rate?

Thanks for your time.... This help me know how much I will be willing to donate.

Q: Will you be willing to remove the adds off the forums?
A: The adds pay for the forum; so no.

Q: How many average players are on?
A: It varies on the time of day due to so many different timezones, anywhere between 0-20 most days.

Q: What was the most players on at one time?
A: I have no idea, I assume the server has peaked as it only currently holds 38 players.

Q: How many admins are registered here?
A: Jon, Simey, Dementia and Myself are the regular Admins, listed by rank.

Q: How often at times, do players find themselves stuck with hackers ingame with no admin?
A: This happens quite rarely, but we all have lives, so we can't always be online to stop hackers. It can happen usually once or twice a day depending on the time.

Q: How old is the server?
A: I can't be sure, I believe the server was established early this year.

Q: Do you expect the server to fail within the next 6 months(Answer honestly)?
A: Honestly, this server has A LOT of life yet to live, it's only just a baby, and yet quite popular and well-known; and the best server you can find IMO.

Q: What is the player registration rate?
A: We get new players in every day, anyone you see with 0 score, are new, and depending on how they find the experience, determines whether they will return or not. Ask any one of our committed members, and they will tell you they have been on other servers, and that PSTCNR is the best they have been to; thus, why they stay.

Obviously I don't know everything about the server, but I have answered your questions to the best of my ability; anyone can correct me if they wish.

But do these ads really pay for the forums? Or is it because its a free forum, and it pays the company money to have them on free sites?

I have no idea; that is just the way it used to back on the old forums; so I assumed the same setup. We used to be able to donate to the server and the forum separately to remove ads. So i'm not sure what is happening with this forum.

Just saying, Bc I used this site before for forums, and it did that crap to me.
And seeing kroger ads under "Profile" "PM" ext..... yea lol

Its like $5-$10 to have them removed.

It costs a little over $20 to remove ads for a year, in my opinion its not really worth it. I would rather put that money towards a domain name and website hosting so I could create our own website and we do not have to use a free forum.

That sounds good too. I just want to see at least half of it go to use.
Still I believe the owner should get a little bit for himself as well.

Myself, Simey, Dementia and Pr0v3n all put so much time and hard work into Pastime. It causes a lot of stress keeping the server up and running and the 20,000+ lines of code in our main script does not really help. But we made a promise about our donations. All of the money donated to the Pastime Paypal account goes to the server host or website. And Simey and I are just glad to have created something that people are willing to put their support and hard earned money towards. We all thank you and all our supporters for donating what ever you can afford or offer.

Wow Proven is right, I am sure you guys were up late nights writing and whatnot. Making servers is not the type of thing you do for a couple of hours. I am sure it takes days and many more hours. I can't even imagine the kind of stress it would put on one as well, especially if you have a family. Thank you guys so much for the server and everybody's kindness. Happy Holidays to all!
